저번에 올렸던 캄폿 여행후기를 이어서 오늘은 이틀째 날 하룻동안 투어했던 일정을 소개해보려고 합니다.
I posted the review of trip in Kampot a couple of days ago. Today, I'm going to pick up the review of the trip in Kampot.

먼저 가이드 아저씨는 캄폿 리버사이드 한가운데 있는 관광안내소에서 만났어요 ㅎㅎ
I met a guider at torist center which is located in the middle of riverside.
사실 다른 투어를 하나 신청해서 캡비치나 레빗아일랜드를 가볼까해서 갔는데
actually, I was about to make an reservation for tour in Kep beach and Rabbit Island,
아저씨가 본인이 하룻동안 오토바이로 20달러에 개인투어해주겠다고 하셔서
but the guider said, he would provide a personal tour by motocycle for a whole day for 20dollars,
처음에는 거절했는데 캡비치, 크랩마켓, 라플란테이션이라는 후추농장 등 여러 곳을 다 둘러볼 수 있게 해주겠다고 하셔서 오케이했습니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
and take me to Kep beach, Crab market, La plantaion, pepper shop, and so on. I rejected at the first time, but it sounded good so I accepted it.
가이드 아저씨는 영어를 정말 잘했어요. 캄폿에서 태어나서 쭉 살고 있다고 하셨는데 봉사활동오는 외국인들에게 영어를 배웠다고 해요! 캄폿이 관광지라 정말 관광객이 많았고 관광업으로 생계를 이어가는 사람들도 많았어요.
The tour guider speaks English very well. he said he was born in Kampot and grew up there as well. he learned English through foreign volunteer workers when he was in school. Kampot city has so many tourist attractions so many people work related to tourism for a living.
아저씨가 아침일찍 열리는 현지 피쉬마켓을 보려면 7시 반에 만나야한다고 하셔서 아침에 일찍 관광안내소 앞에서 만나기로 했어요!
The guider and I met at the tourist center at 7 :30 a.m in the morning to go to the local crab market.
그렇게 처음 간 곳은 피쉬마켓
The first place I've been the 2nd day was local fish market.
크랩마켓 이후에는 오토바이를 타고 후추를 살 수 있는 작은 샵에 갔어요. 거기서 후추가 어떻게 재배되는지 과정을 설명해주기도 했어요.
I headed to a small pepper shop to buy peppers. they explained the process of growing and harvesting pepper
그다음에는 소금을 만드는 염전이 있는 곳에 갔는데, 우리나라 신안 같은 곳에서 소금을 만드는 것과 비슷한 모습이었어요.
and then , I went to saltern which is similar to Shinhan, Korea. they were making sea salt.
그리고 나서 La Plantation 이라는 곳을 가기 전에 주변에 있는 작은 마을을 오토바이를 타며 지나갔는데
after I looked around the saltern, I passed a small village by motocycle,
자연이 너무 아름답고 우리나라 60-70년대 시골모습을 보는 듯한 느낌이었어요.
It was so beautiful and looked like countryside view of Korea in 1960-1970.
La Plantation
La Plantation 은 후추농장인데, 여기에서는 무료로 투어 가이드를 제공하여 후추를 어떻게 재배하는지, 후추 종류는 어떤 것들이 있는지 알 수 있어요. 그런데 언어는 영어와 불어 2가지만 있어요. 그래서인지 제가 갔을 때는 동양인 외국인관광객은 저밖에 없었고, 프랑스나 다른 유럽 및 미주 관광객이 대부분이었어요.
La Plantation is a huge pepper farm. There are some tours to provide the knowledge of pepper and tours are free. but the tour for guide the farm only provided English and French. I find it that was why I was the only asian among there and all the tourist were European and American.
투어가 끝난 후에는 아래 직접 여러가지 후추를 맛보는 시간이 있었어요! 이 때 다양한 종류의 후추를 직접 먹어봤는데,
먹어보면서 제가 든 생각은 프랑스를 포함해 유럽국가들이 괜히 동남아에서 플랜테이션을 한게 아니구나 였어요!
After the farm tour we had a time to try some kinds of pepper. I tasted many kinds of pepper there. While I was trying peppers, I thought that the plantation of Southeast countries from European countries(including France) had a reason.
정말 향신료가 발달하였고, 향신료 하나로 음식의 맛이 정말 맛있어져요!
Spices are so good and various, also it really makes better taste with small amount.
가기전에는 음식걱정했었는데 사실 캄보디아 음식 저는 잘 맞았어요!
before I've been there, I had worried about the food, but actually Cambodian foods were good to me.
향신료도 한국인이 안좋아하는 고수나 그런 향이 아니라 한국인들도 좋아할만한 것이 많았어요 ㅎㅎ
There were many spices which would be okay for Koreans as well. (most of Koreans don't like cilantro(corriandor))
그렇게 후추농장 투어를 마치니 점심시간이 조금 넘어서 배가 고팠어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
After I was done with the tour in pepper farm, I was starving cuz that time was already after lunch time.
그래서 크랩마켓(캡 비치 근처)에 가면 맛있는 곳이 있다고 거기서 점심먹으라고 해서 그쪽으로 갔어요!
so the guider recommended and took me to a restaurant in crab market.
라플란테이션에서 투어하면서 봤던 프랑스인 여자분이
저같이 개인 가이드로 관광중이라서 저랑 루트가 같은거에요 ㅋㅋㅋ
in fron of the restaurant, I met one French girl whom I met at the peppper farm. she also was on the trip with personal guider like me, and the route of tour was same.
그래서 크랩마켓 같은 식당에 내렸어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
둘다 홀로 여행이라 같이 먹자고 해서 함께 자리를 잡고 각자 원하는 크랩을 시켜서 맨손으로 정말 열심먹었어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
we got off the same restaurant. and she said " why don't we have lunch together?" so we sat the same table, ordered our own dishes, and ate the crab by using our hands.

Kep beach 캡 비치
캡비치는 크랩마켓에서 조금 내려오면 있는데, 여기는 우리나라 서해안 바다와 느낌이 비슷해요.
Kep beach is located in nearby crab market. The view was similar to west coast in Korea.
여기에서 프랑스인 여자분과 같이 사진 찍고 잠시 이야기하며 시간보내다가 헤어졌어요!
I took some photos at the beach, had a chic-chat and said good-bye to French girl here.
캡비치에서 다시 숙소로 돌아가는 길에 조금 돌아가서 선셋보러 산위쪽으로 올라갔는데
가이드가 오토바이랑 사진찍으라며 찍어줬어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
on the way back to the accommodation, I took the detour route to see the sunset and went up the mountain. The guider took some photos with motocycle for me.
이렇게 캄폿 이틀쨋날을 알차게 보내고 다음날 아침 일찍 저는 다시 봉사활동 하는 곳으로 돌아갔어요 ㅎㅎ
봉사활동 전, 후에 프놈펜과 씨엠립/앙코르와트 여행도 갔었는데 다음 기회에 후기를 올려볼게요!
The Second day was paid off and headed back to the site of volunteerwork in the early next morning.
